Since the 90’s, she has been inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame and was voted the XRCO Favorite Female in 1993. She was known for her striking and punky looks with multiple tattoos and piercings, including what is now known as the Maddison piercing, a body piercing at the front of the neck named after her because she was the first person to be publicly associated with it. When she left the industry, she became a singer and opened her tattoo parlor called Maddison Tattoo Shoppe in North Hollywood.
Tera Heart is known for her sporadic career throughout the 1990’s, starting her career in 1990 when she starred in 900 Desert Strip.
