Directed by Morton M. Lewis, the film focuses on the sex life of Kitty and her ‘oafish’ boyfriend. The movie was re-released in the 1970s as The Italian Stallion to capitalize on the now-famous Stallone after he rose to Rocky fame.
Sunny Leone
Former Penthouse Pet, actress, model, writer, and activist Sunny Leone takes the spot at number 5. Sunny is Canadian born and comes from an Indian Sikh family. She came to America and started posing for Penthouse and Hustler magazine in the early 00’s. In 2005 she signed a contract with Vivid Entertainment and was featured in multiple lesbian hardcore films with this studio. She later went on to work with male actors from 2007-2009. She retired from the adult industry in 2013, has been featured in mainstream movies like Girl Next Door, and is a star in Bollywood.
Marilyn Monroe
Hollywood darling and movie starlet Marilyn Monroe comes in at number seven. Although there is much debate about whether Marilyn Monroe is one of the celebrities who did porn, many feel like the Netflix movie Blonde confirmed that the Some Like It Hot star was involved in vintage six-minute porn before her Hollywood career took off. The film was made public by Spanish native Mikel Barsa, who had been trying to sell the tape but to no avail.
Channing Tatum
Although he didn’t start in porn, we had to mention this on.! We all know Channing Tatum as the hunky heartthrob in the Magic Mike movies. Still, before he rose to international movie fame, Channing Tatum started his career as a stripper in Florida under the name Chan Crawford. He worked as a stripper for eight months before he hung up his yellow g-string and turned towards acting and modelling, but it was excellent experience for his later role in the Magic Mike films.
Kim Kardashian
Before she burst onto the screen as part of one of the most influential celebrity families, Kim Kardashian made headlines when her sex tape was leaked in 2007. The video depicted her and her then-boyfriend Ray J (who she dated in 2002). The tape was released by Vivid Entertainment, who claimed they bought the tape from a third party for $1 million. Although there is controversy around the time as to when and who leaked it (with rumors even saying it was from within the family), it cannot be denied that it helped launch Kim Kardashian and the famous Keeping Up with the Kardashians TV show to infamy.
Sibel Kekilli
Our final celebrity that did porn is best known for her role as Shae in Game of Thrones and her leading role in the German film Head-On. Sibel Kekilli is seen as a German national treasure in the film industry and a passionate advocate for ending gender-based discrimination. Before landing her first significant film role in 2002, for six months while living in Essen, she started her career in the adult film industry, working on multiple porn films, including with directors Josef Baumberger and Harry S. Morgan.
