My guest today on adult site broker talk is adult performer Lily Craven. Lettley thanks for being back with us on adult site broker talk. Well hello thanks for having me four times. Always nice to have you four times. I know that’s a lot. I’m feeling like I’m getting old here. You’re brave. You’re very brave. We’re both getting old. That’s the problem. I know it is. We’ll tell everyone a little bit about you. Adult performer Lily Craven has been in the industry for over eight years now. Starting as a webcam model and now she does adult videos. Her niches are big toys, dirty talk, big boobs and taboo role play. Her favorite niche is the extreme mommy fetish, Dummy Mommy. I like saying that. This role allows her to interact one-on-one with many of her followers. She does build a whore, custom videos and pics. The customer tells her what to say, what to do, what to wear and what toys to play with and she makes a custom video and pictures just for them. She has a popular podcast which I’ve been on called Phone Sex with Lily. She interviews adult industry talent in front of and behind the camera. Phone Sex with Lily can be heard on Spotify, Anchor and SkyhawkAfterDarkTV.com. So how was your commercial? Ooh, that was good. So Lily, your fourth time on the podcast, you’re a very brave woman. Tell us a bit about yourself outside the adult industry. Oh goodness, outside of the adult industry, I am quite the opposite. I would just have to say that I’m a homebody. I’m pretty conservative on my views and my beliefs and I stay at home a lot. But there really is no life outside of the adult industry once you get into it. You make a good point. It’s pretty all engulfing, isn’t it? It definitely is. I don’t typically step into the civilian world, but not that I don’t want to. It just doesn’t quite step into mine. Well you’re a mom. Well, yeah, but I mean, they’re all grown. Yeah. Does that still count? Of course it does. Of course it does. I’m just kidding. You did your time. You did your time. You should be saluted. Hey, I’m just, you know, they’re all good. That’s all I have to say about that. That’s a good thing. That’s a good thing. Yes, it really is. So we tape this at the end of January. It’s going to run in May. You just got back from another AVN. How was that? It was great. We went back to the hard rock that is formerly known as Hard Rock. Now the Virgin. It was nice. I liked the smaller venue. I didn’t like the expo area because I already knew the last time I was there we had outgrown it. It’s almost like when we went to Resorts World it was way too spread out. And then now it’s just like cramped back in, but it wasn’t as far to walk. Yeah. Places. That’s true. That’s true. It was more convenient on the feet. You know, we do wear heels. You do. And then down. Oh, it’s brutal. This year I did not. So this year I was in the press room 100% of the time. I didn’t step into the expo except for about five minutes just to say I went there. Sounds like me. So that was great. I had some great interviews this year. Super fun. And I mean these performers were like they’re really going to enjoy what’s coming out. Fantastic. They were excellent interviews. So I enjoyed them. And I just enjoyed, you know, being with everybody. The after parties were super fun. White party hosted by Kiki Dare this year. That was great. We just had a blast. Yeah. We were talking before we started recording about you talking to Kazumi. Oh, I what? Yes. So I got the honor of being able to interview on the red carpet, which is why no one saw me on the red carpet. And so there was very few select networks that could go that were approved to do the interviews. And so there was Tawnyutate and then there was Brasers. There was me and Naked News on my other side. And I was like, oh, wow. So Skyhawk has definitely advanced in our position. And it was absolutely wonderful to interview all the top performers. And Kazumi was one of them. She really liked my knockers. I noticed that. Yes. I was like, I’m going to be this morning. That’s the first thing she said. Well, hello. I’m Kazumi and you have really nice knockers. I know. I saw that. That was classic. Yeah. And I was like, oh, well, that caught me off guard. That was funny. That was really funny. Coming from her. She’s so beautiful. Like she is like a porcelain doll. Like just flawless. Yeah. So I met her at X-Biz. And I said exactly the same thing. She’s even prettier in person, which usually is not. Yes. Yes. And that usually isn’t the case. You know, usually when you see somebody on tape and then you meet them in person, you go, oh, they were a little rougher. Different. But she looked better. It was like, oh, she does. And her personality, she’s so bubbly and she’s so raw. The thing she just says what she says. I love it. I love it. You mentioned Skyhawk. Tell me a little bit more about that and how that’s going. So Skyhawk is really moving along. It is the adult industry news media outlet. And so we have on the site, it’s skyhawkafterdarktv.com. And that is podcasts. We had five avian nominated from the fan award podcast category. So we have, I think five of them are on Skyhawk. We have media, press releases, articles. I’m starting a news section, which is going to be really cool. It’ll be up and running by the time this airs and it’s for the lifestyle. So yeah, I have someone coming on board to sort of handle that section. And I really would like to integrate just all aspects of sex work in the industry on that website. You’ve gotten pretty involved over there. Extremely. I guess I got suckered. Don’t you always? Yes. But you know, I have to say that it’s just a really good platform. I see so much potential for it and a need for it. And it’s just going to be the performers and the fans. I’m going to start a fan section. I don’t know if I’m going to name it fantastic or maybe, or maybe fan picks or POV fans or something like that where they can have their section. If they want to review movies, if they want to write in or anything, give them a voice. Yeah. So we’ve got some things coming up. We’ve also been doing all of the, the expos and events. AVN, we didn’t get a booth because we were in the media room and on the red carpet, but we will have a booth in Chicago at Exotica. So we invite performers to come sign in our booth and we do live streaming and podcasting from the booth. We did do live streaming from Exotica. It was in the press area, but we were able to live stream our, our interviews. So they’re also recorded and you can go to the website and see them still. But yeah, we’ve been doing a lot of live stuff. Very good. We even got kicked out of the media area live. Live? Yeah. We couldn’t have, we couldn’t have cameras and I’m like, isn’t this the media area? We, yeah. This was at Exotica. No, this was at AVN. Oh, geez. They said we couldn’t have cameras. So then we had to move outside when we, I was like, excuse me, I’m live, but the gaming commission didn’t give a shit. Oh, it was a gaming commission. Yes. And the boobs, the side boobs, under boobs were a big deal. Really? Yeah. You know, gambling, you can’t have that shit. I know. Go figure. Yeah. So that’s what Kazumi was talking about when she was, yeah, Vegas doesn’t like boobs because we were getting in trouble for our boobs. I was wondering, yeah, well, yeah, Vegas loves boobs. Come on. She’s like, what kind of Vegas is this? Yeah, really? It ain’t what it used to be. That’s for damn sure. I know that. And if you have boobs, it’s not easy to put them away. I do, unfortunately. Well, it’s true. Well, I just looked down to make sure. I hope so. How do you balance your personal life with your career as a porn star? Your guess is as good as mine. How I balance it, it’s not actually, it’s not quite balanced. It’s very much on the flip side, on the industry side. I just make each day work one by moment by moment. But it is a challenge and it really just cuts out that personal side of your life. I don’t really have one. But this is my family. It’s my friends. It’s sort of all integrated in one and I’m good with that. I’m definitely happy. So I don’t complain about working and I work day and day out and it’s my hobby. So I wanted to congratulate you since we were talking about AVN on the nomination for your podcast. How did you come up with the concept of the podcast? Oh, well, so it was during COVID. And someone had asked me at another station to stand in and do an interview and I was like, okay, so I just used a handheld mic and went through my cell phone. Anyways, that didn’t sound great, but that’s what I did. And then I was asked to do it again and again. And then finally they’re like, do you want your own show? And I’m like, yeah, because these porn star interviews are boring like they are. And so I was like, okay, so I need to come up. I need to come up with an idea and it was during COVID so they couldn’t be in person. And then I was like, okay, what cells? Sex cells, phone, it’s over the phone. So phone sex. And I’m going to have phone sex with my guests for the first two minutes. And so originally I would tell them beforehand and they either dipped out, didn’t show up, in no call, no show. Or the last person brought a script. Oh no. And it just failed miserably. And so then the next person, I didn’t tell them until right before I recorded. And I said, hey, I’m going to have phone sex with you for two minutes. And they’re like, what? I said, trust me, I’ll lead the way. And so all of my recordings are authentic. They had no clue I’m going to do this to them. They don’t do their research. I’m going to tell you that they don’t look up who they’re interviewing with. They just never. That would take work. Yeah, they don’t do it. So I went ahead and did that. And then with all the characters and personalities in our industry, you can imagine it goes in every direction. Yeah. You told me we were going to do it. And I went, all right. Yeah. But that’s me. Some people are like, what? I’m like, you’re a porn star. Like what do you mean? But it goes in all different kinds of direction. That’s the fun part of the interview. And then I get into the boring. No, then I get into the boring interviews. Your interviews are never boring, Lily. Nothing about you. Nothing about you is ever boring. Well, about me, but like I definitely needed to take a break, which I’m off now, but I needed to regroup, redecorate, you know, get my YouTube up and running and looking right and just redo the questioning. And because it was sort of getting dry, in my opinion. Yeah. You lose what to say after a while. Sure. Sure. So you were known for your stunning looks and big boobies. We can say boobies on this podcast. Boobies. We can say just about everything. Oh, boobies. Boobs. Boobies. Keep going. So how did you get started? We’ve heard the story well in the past. Maybe you can remind people how you got started in the industry. Revenge on a cheaty next. I literally was going to, I don’t know, I was caught the ex cheating with everyone I knew. So I literally was like, I could fuck, you know, his dad, his best friend, and it would just be cheating. It’s all the same thing. And I would just, it would be all about what a cheater I was. So I’m like, I’m going to go to Hollywood and be a porn star. So I packed my bag and I went to Hollywood and I sat in the smoking section at an event and that’s where I met everyone one at a time. I bet Katie Moore was a Katie Morgan. Yeah. And Evan Stone first. And I met and I started meeting people. They were in everybody’s smokes, vape something is they were outside. Then I met Will Ryder. Yeah. That’s how that started. And I just went from there. What do you remember from your first scene? That his balls stunk. Oh, was it Will Ryder? No. No. It was it. And I ended up getting ripped off because I didn’t know about paperwork and I didn’t know. Yeah. He was like my first broker deal. Yeah. Yeah. So he totally ripped me off in the end and he stunk. And it was like, I didn’t know what to say. Like, I didn’t, it was like my first scene. So like, are you allowed to say like, dude, go wash your ass. And I didn’t because I was just didn’t know. And then the next time someone told me, you tell them to go wash their ass. Yeah. Take a shower. Yeah, he didn’t. But so I gagged through that one and then I got ripped off afterwards and because I didn’t do paperwork, I had no right to it. And he still says to this day, you know who you are, you little evil thing. He’s still eating crumbs though. So that’s good enough. I’m not exactly. Yeah, that was good enough. He needs it. He needs my video. So what have been some of your favorite moments and favorite guests on the podcast? Well, except for me, you know, I know I’m your favorite, but besides me, I would have to, I have so many, but like this one time, Priya, Rai and I were at Exotica and we did an audio only and I’m sitting there talking to her about being a goat, which for those of that don’t know, it’s greatest of all times. And then it dawned on me. I’m like, what sound does a goat make, Priya? And Priya goes, and I’m like, that’s a sheep, Priya. And then we’re like, what sound does a goat make? And so all we did was laugh really hard, like for 15 minutes trying to figure out what a goat makes. And that was like my number one episode forever. Could have Googled it right on the spot. That would have been fun too. Yeah, but we were recording. That’s true. So for everybody, maybe they can write in, what sound does a goat make? It’s not, but that’s what we learned. So yeah, that was fun. Definitely memorable. And it was, like I said, it was audio only and it just got thousands of listeners on it. And then let me think of anyone. I mean, there’s just so many. I’ve done well over a hundred, I think. So yeah, I had a great one at AVN, which I can’t wait to put out. We had, what was, oh, Ebony Mystique was fabulous. Good. I mean, she’s just quite entertaining. She, she was, she showed me footage of her fucking a midget that was like, he was so tiny and he had like a nine inch dick. Yep. There are those. And he was just one of a, I was like, oh my gosh, but it was, it was quite the sight to see their ass perched in the air and he was literally like a helicopter. It was hilarious. So anyways, yeah, you got to go check that out on her only fans for Ebony Mystique. She, yes, she keeps that behind a paywall, but I got to see it and it’s one of a kind. Sounds like fun. Sounds like fun. You’re known for dirty talking, flirting with your fans. So what do you love most about interacting with them? I really like buildup, the flirting, the whole buildup up until I make you pop. So I’m a lot of dialogue. In my mom, I have to make a correction. You had said mommy, Dami, I have since learned that that is not what I am. I don’t do the diapers and all that, which is what that is. I do the mommy milk fetish, the real mom fetish. And so I am so dialogue. All my guys pop before we ever get to anything but dialogue, but I do. I still perform, but you know, they still pop. They make messes everywhere. They can’t hold their junk very long. Oh. Yeah. So it’s definitely, it’s such a fun genre. And if you understand it and you understand that we don’t want to fuck our biological family members, then you would get, we just don’t. Well, unless you’re from Arkansas. Well, yeah. Oh, the Duggers are from there. Yeah. So, so basically, yeah, oh, Jesus. No. Um, yeah, it’s such a fun genre. If you understand the fact that first were performers and so it’s just fun and it’s so naughty and taboo and it’s so perverted. How far are you from the role you play? Oh gosh, I’ve almost became Lily full time. I would say the real me that I hardly ever see anymore is the extreme opposite. I would say. It’s just I’m much more conservative, much more reserved and I don’t know, but I’ve really grown to like Lily a lot. I love her free spirit and her pervertedness. Like she’s a perv and she’s just a horny milf that is out to get all her sons and her friends and it’s just the whole neighborhood, her best friend, son, her anything like that. But I’m very nurturing, definitely nurturing. That’s real. So that’s what. I just teach you how to do it right. Brucey. I hate when people call me that. Brucey, but you’d like it if your mommy called you that. No, she never, no, she never called me that. We’re not talking real mom, Bruce. Oh, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. See the difference. Yeah. Even my virtual mom, I don’t want them calling me Brucey, but thank you. Oh, okay. Yeah. Bruce. That’s better. That’s much, much better. All right. How do you keep your fans engaged and coming back for more? I keep talking dirty to them. They know that they can reach me anytime. I mean, lately because of the awards and all that, there’s times when I’m away at Expo’s, but otherwise they can reach me anytime day or night. I typically will answer to them. If I don’t, I’ll get back to them, but I’m there when their dick is hard. I’m mommy’s waiting. You’re still doing a lot of cam stuff, right? I wish I was and I could say that I’m going to get back into it because I just love it and it’s a great way to drive traffic. It’s wonderful on the business side of it. It’s the one thing that I’m not required to do. So the self-discipline to get on every day and do what I need to do, I struggle with consistency with all the other shit I’m doing. So you’re doing what primarily Skype shows now? Oh, yeah. I’m doing Skype shows, customs, only fans, a lot of only fans. Just stuff like that. So tell me about some of the stranger people you’ve had to deal with. Stranger? Oh gosh. I don’t think anybody’s really strange or I wouldn’t call it weird. I would just say something that’s unique. I think my most recent one that I really had a good time was the heart attack fetish. So I had to interact from beginning to end a heart attack and that was 20 minutes of being at an office desk and getting stressed out and I had to research the symptoms that a woman has compared to a man and I learned a lot. You’re an actor. Yeah. If you’re having a heart attack cough, you want to go and keep coughing to keep the heart blood pumping and I did not know that. And don’t call your friend first. You’re supposed to call 911 first. Cough really hard and often. Yeah. Yeah. And then it will keep your heart pumping. Isn’t that interesting though? Oh it is. It definitely is. Yeah. I think you told me about this heart attack thing when we were talking. Yeah. That was great. Yeah. How often is it where you get a request that it’s non-sexuals pretty often? That it’s non-sexual? Rare. Yeah. What else would you want me to do? Yeah. No. Because of this one you said was non-sexual. I thought maybe there were others. There were others. No. I know not really. And it’s sexual to them but I’m not nude. I’m not jerking off. I’m not sticking anything down my throat. You know, eating anything odd, shoving the odd objects in me or anything like that. It’s just having a heart attack. It was fun. And you know what? It’s sold better. It’s sold so many. It’s on many vids if you want to check it out. I think I did all right. Yeah. I did pretty good on it. Oh geez. Okay. I was like, "Hey, this isn’t too bad." So what’s the craziest or most memorable fan request you’ve ever received? Oh, I always revert back to, you know, me being asked to piss on the floor in my kitchen and then cleaning it up with my tits to be a human mop. Oh, God. I passed on that one. I bet you did. What’s the craziest one you actually did? You know, I don’t do too many crazy, I would say rape your mom. So it’s solo, so I’m not being raped by anyone, but like pretending like I’m being raped by my son, POV, and you just stop, son, stop. And there’s a lot of guys with rape your mom fetish. Well, I think that comes from porn. Maybe, or maybe they just want to choke their mom out or step on her face. I don’t know, but it’s fun. It’s definitely fun. I like making these fun because I’m an actress. Like it’s not real. So I enjoy, you know, try a new role or something I haven’t done. Like the heart attack was pretty intimidating and it took me a couple of few tries, but it’s just something different. It’s fun and switches up your day a bit, you know? Well you talk about the rape and stuff. Does any of that ever bother you? No, I’m totally acting and I’m alone. So for me, it’s a lot of like figuring out how to do it and film it on my own. Try to get raped without anybody there. It’s not that easy. So you have to hit certain angles on the camera to make it look like the camera’s coming at you and it’s just, you have to really be creative. And so that to me is, it’s fun. Like I love it, but it doesn’t bother me. I’m not being raped. The only thing that it does bother me is the fact that I have to say, "Stop, son, stop." And like I have neighbors and like, I don’t want anyone. So I get a little weird about that and I wait or I’ll go somewhere where I can scream and say, "Stop raping me, son." Probably a really good idea that you don’t end up sweating yourself. That would not be good. Swatting? Like hitting myself? No, no, no, no. You’ve heard of, you know what it is to be swatted, right? No. You report that there’s like somebody just broke into a house and then the police break in. Oh, swatted like a swat raid? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then do they rape her? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Basically, they call the police and the police end up coming to your house. People have been killed with these things before. Oh, and they do a set up a swat raid and then they didn’t know you were just... Well, it’s not always the swat team, but there have been instances where people have died because of it. You know, it’s crazy. It happens to a lot of people, actually. I wonder how many performers have had to deal with that by doing a scene? Probably a lot, yeah. We do scream a lot. Yes, indeed. You got to go out to the jungle, like out in the middle and see here, I’ll go out into the country and do it. There you go. So you’re not afraid to speak your mind and express your sexuality. What’s the most taboo topic you’ve ever discussed on your podcast? Taboo topic. I try to gear away from that, to be honest with you. I try to steer away from it just because I want it to be entertaining. I don’t want it to ruffle a bunch of people’s feathers and it’s not a debate. You? Yeah, I know, right? Not on my show at least. I like them to like my show. So I just try to keep it as general chit chat. I don’t dig too much in their personal lives or I don’t care where they prefer to have nut on their face or I don’t ask those kind of questions. It’s more just like two ladies on the phone, two girls just, okay, we get raunchy, but at a level that comforts them and it’s something that’s not so controversy. I don’t do politics. I don’t do that kind of stuff, gossip. We do that off the phone. Indeed. So what do you think is the biggest misconception about the adult industry? Oh, this is a good one. I think that we’re all running around wanting to fuck each other. I mean, maybe some of them do, but my friends and I, we get together, we’re not fucking each other. We’re not at AVN having sex with everybody. Like, did you have sex? No, we don’t want to go to the strip club for after parties. No, we’re just like normal. Like we’re just hanging out with each other. We have a drink and we have a bite to eat. Yeah, like seriously, we’re just normal people, but I mean, I guess we’ve done a good job at creating the illusion that we want to fuck all the time. And maybe we do, but we don’t want to fuck each other all the time. Like I don’t watch that. I don’t want to see my friends fuck, but a lot of people, a lot of performers are like, I want to fuck only my friends and I’m like, I don’t want to even see them on a video. Like I don’t watch their work. That’s my friend. So yeah, that’s, I think that’s the biggest misconception is that we’re just a bunch of like horn dogs and we can’t control ourselves. And when we get together, we’re just all one big orgy. Maybe that’s what they wish it was. Yeah. And so that’s what I was saying. I think we’ve done a pretty good job of creating that fantasy. Fantasy is what we’re selling. It’s true. We’re selling you a fantasy and they love it. And I mean, I love doing it. So it’s somewhat fantasy, but I’m very much into it, very much enjoy it. And it’s just fun. I’m lucky to do it. Yeah. No, I agree. I feel the same way. Since you’ve been in the industry, how do you feel it’s changed over the years? And what is he, what do you see as the future of our industry? The change is so dramatic because when I entered, it was still having movie productions and I’m sure that’s still going on, but you really just don’t hear about it too much unless you’re the big stars. The performing is now down to fucking your neighbor, your dentist, your anybody, which is kind of cool for the fans because it could be you too. But there’s no more exchange, I would say. There’s no more dollar value to it. I think that everybody’s sort of just fucking each other for free for content. And I think it’s a steady decline of what the whole theatrics of it, the makeup, the sets, even though I hear always from literally probably 99.9, if not 100% of people I’ve asked, they all prefer amateur. And I don’t. I just like that clear quality, crisp picture. I like the whole scene of it. I like the staged dialogue. I just, that’s how I like it. But most people like it raw and amateur. I think they’re both attractive. I think we’re losing value is what I see happening. We’ve lost value in, like if I were to take off my clothes and do this, it should be at such a higher value than what it is now. Now you take off your clothes and you get a subscription for 99. You know what I mean? Like that’s not even minimum wage. No, that’s true. But on the other hand, it’s really people like you, the creators who drive the industry more than ever before and can benefit more than ever before from platforms like OnlyFans, ManyVids, JustForFans, etc. And you know, back when you started, those opportunities weren’t available. So you had to depend on the studios. So but I just think the industry overall now as a creator, as a performer, yes, you are correct. But I think a little bit further than that, like the whole industry as a whole, I think it’s been a steady decline because of it. But again, I am benefiting from it. So if but I still like the whole, it used to be a performance, a theatrics. You know what I mean? Not everybody in your neighbor did it. Well, the iPhone has a lot to do with that because you can record in such great quality with an iPhone or a Samsung or whatever the equivalent is. Oh, that’s true. Yes. And you know, a lot of us have learned like, I never thought I’d be in this industry, let alone, you know, I do editing, I do produce, I do it at all. There’s nothing that I haven’t learned how to do from A to Z. And it’s great to be able to know all those skills because you really can’t rely on anyone. It’s to each their own. So if someone’s successful and their content creating, they are busting their ass or they have a great team in either way. That still costs a lot of money. Yes, it does. Yes, it does. So we definitely are, you know, skilled and it’s not easy to do and most people don’t make anything more than gas money. So I’m appreciative just of the whole thing. But I feel like we’re in one of those cycles where, you know, like in the 80s, we were leg warmers and headbands and stuff. And how it comes around again, that fashion, it’s all cycled through twice now in my lifetime. And I feel like we’re going to get tighter on the rules with porn. People think that it’s getting more and more loose, but our government or whoever is this ruling factor is really tightening up, making more conservative. And then I think we’re going to have a peace love. Let’s fuck fest. Like everybody make love. And that cycle will come back around. Hopefully in my lifetime. Yeah, we both certainly went through it as kids. So yeah, definitely. Yeah, just a little older than you. But you know, I mean, we went through it as I was in the Bay Area during the during the summer of love. So okay. I wasn’t that you weren’t you weren’t quite a rumor yet with that. Yeah. Anyway, so when I see the cycle, like I hope that’s what it is because they’re really you know, getting to the point, you know, if any creator, we can run circles around a marketing team at any corporate office because we have to jump through so we have so many obstacles and, you know, jump through hoops and things just to be able to survive and and keep your brand or do anything with your brand. And so we are so creative. We can get through anything. We figure it out, but it’s getting harder and harder. Yeah, well, you know, at least my next question, you work in many aspects of the industry. What’s your favorite one? Lately it’s been the media. I really, really like the media. I like meeting all the performers. I love the interviews. I like producing it. I like the website that I’m working, you know, with with Skyhawk. It’s just a great platform and the freedom to do what we want. We’re on our own server. We don’t charge anything, so we’re able to go balls to the walls if we want to, like anything. That’s really nice. Yeah, we can even put only fans links on their performers. Do you hear me? So you were, we mentioned it earlier. You were nominated for an Avian award or phone sex with Lely. How does it feel to be recognized by the fans? Yeah, so it was a fan award. So that to me is like huge and especially against the podcast that I was nominated against like Adam 22 and I believe it was Pillow Talk that won. There’s Tonya Tate’s Adult Empire. There’s some really serious like platforms or networks there. And so that right there, I was like, this is pretty cool. And that’s good enough for me. I would never expect to win against them, but just being recognized. It’s really neat. That’s the third year in a row. I’ll be the Susan Luchey of podcast category. Oh, never’s a long time, doll. You never know. But that’s okay though. I’m good with that. I really am. It’s such a, just to say it is pretty cool. I understand. What would you like to say to your fans who have followed you, bought your content and nominated you for awards? Oh, thank you. Thank you. If it weren’t for the fans, honestly, I would not be here. They are the ones that make it possible. I think a lot of performers lose sight of who brought us there and who keeps us there. It would definitely be my fans by far. They’ve been through thick and thin with me through my divorce. They helped build me back up. And there’s some really solid people out there that are ride or die fans. And I appreciate them more than I could ever tell them. Yeah. I do agree with you that a lot of people don’t really appreciate their fans and they kind of take everything for granted. Even though this whole creator economy is still relatively new. Yeah. I think so too. I think, you know, you have to step back and, you know, when they get irritated and stuff, it’s like they’re paying to irritate you. So, and in the back, you know, how much money they spend and the fact that I can make a living off of it and live comfortably, I’m just so forever grateful. I could not be more appreciative. I try to give back as much as I can to them and tell them that and spend the time with them. And even when I have appointments, I will, I’m not a big clock watcher. I want to spend that time with them because I do value their hard earned money. I do value the fact that they’re there and they recognize me out of all the other performers they could be with, you know, and that right there is just priceless. Well, that’s good to hear. And one thing I’ll say about you, Lily, I think you are as enterprising as anyone I’ve ever met on the other side of the camera, you know, I talked to a lot of people and you know, I know a lot of people. Yes. And I know some people that are pretty darn enterprising. We get right up there. You’ve gotten involved in so many aspects of the industry just because you’re really good at asking questions and making connections and not everybody is like that. So I think that has a lot to do with your success. I think it has a lot to do with I’m old. So like, like I, I’m in a hurry to, to meet everybody I can meet because my time is almost I’m almost out of here. You feel a little bit more sense of urgency, a lot more sense of appreciation for sure. The fact that I just where I am today is, is miles away from, from where I started in such a short period of time. How much longer do you see yourself doing this? I hope to keep going. Of course I’ve slowed down a lot on performing. If it’s a good one, I’ll jump in and suck it. But otherwise I like the one on one, you know, webcam chatting and Skype calls and I really like the one on one interactions a lot. So I plan on being in some aspect of the industry until I, I guess retire. At least I mean, I see at least 10 more years like doing something behind or in front, just like I am now somewhat, you know, staying relevant. Well we love having you around. That’s for sure. Oh, well that’s so sweet. I try. I love being, being around. Yes, indeed. Me too. Well Lily, I’d like to thank you for being our guest again today on Adult Site Broker Talk and I hope we’ll get a chance to do it the fifth time. Oh, you’re going to invite me back. You know it. No, it’s your turn now. I’m going to get you on mine again. You got it. All right. Thank you. Thank you. My broker tip today is part three of what to do to make your site more valuable for when you decide to sell it later. Last week we talked about making a good offer and how to structure your site. Next, keep your website design up to date. Do a redesign from time to time. People will tend to think your site is the same as ever and click out of it without even looking at it if something doesn’t change. So keep it fresh and up to date. Times change. So should your website. Look at what your competitors are doing and see what it is you really like. If you know a site to be successful, look at what it is they’re doing and do some of the same things. I’m not saying copy their sites. I’m just suggesting you improve your site by looking around a bit. You’ve got to keep up with the times or you’ll end up being left behind. Also, keep an eye on your competition and make sure you’re offering everything on your site that they are or more. Just look at their design, but make sure your offers are good and competitive. The same goes for your content. Do you ever wonder why one site does well and others don’t? Check out the competition’s content. What are they doing that you’re not doing? Be willing to make changes. People can’t understand why they’re losing sales to a competitor, yet the competitor is clearly doing everything better. Amulate success. Make sure everything on your website works well. Make sure all your links work properly. Check them on a regular basis. If things don’t work, you’ll lose customers. People are not patient these days. People’s attention spans are like that of a nat. They click out immediately and go to the next result in Google if they don’t find what they’re looking for. If the site is hard to navigate or if things don’t work. Check all your internal scripts and plugins and make sure they’re updated regularly as well. We’ll talk about this subject more next week. And next week we’ll be speaking with Matty Hennessey of Eversense Toys. And that’s it for this week’s Adult Site Broker Talk. And once again, I’d like to thank my guest, Lily Craven. Talk to you again next week on Adult Site Broker Talk. I’m Bruce Friedman. [MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO]
